i have a softmoded xbox and i wanted to go online but i get a message Your Xbox console cannot connect to Xbox Live. Do you want to start the troubleshooter? i have my ip and everithing i can go online and download skins for UnleashX from there can any one help me?

You know you have probably been banned from live, if you run the troubleshooter and everything is right it's just that you cant find live your xbox has been banned from xboxlive- everything/every game/ friends list. I know it's happened to me before.

i know im not baned becouse the original hdd i make it back to the original msdash and it connected to xbox live and i was able to open my friends list and i send a message to one of them. I cant do the troble shout becouse it a 40gb hdd and i dont have the msdash and i tryed it one day and i got error code cant remember i think it was 21.

make sure u have the right setting on your xbox...your ip adress and anything else.....and if u wanna transfer skins and u cant FTP use this

yea i know about the FTP i have like 30 diferents skins like i seid the ip, subnet mask, default gatway, and the DNS server is correct i can download skins from allxboxskins.com directly from the xbox. I heard that u have to change something from the eeprom.bin in order to go online with a soft modded xbox.

set your ip settings on modded and m$ dash to dhcp and automatic respectively. then you can but you have to cold boot to get on xbox live, put the game you want to play it and then turn the xbox off and turn it back on with the power button and it should work just fine.
