does anyone know if you can play normal xbox backups on the xbox360 and if so how.

Ya, you can. Just check out xbox.com for the info. If you're not on line with your 360, you'll need to go there anyhow to get the emu.

Step 1- Put the XBOX Game in the XBOX360
Step 2- Plug in the XBOX360
Step 3- Turn on the XBOX360
Step 4- Click Play Game While in The XBOX360 Dashboard
Step 5- Toss your XBOX 360 out then window for being so stupid.

COME on man It is that Simple!

I was just Kiddn too bro.

IF you arn't online you do need to drownload the emu off of www.xbox.com for the game and load it off a jumpdrive or cd.

can only find an option to create a cd to boot original xbox games on the 360 is this the same as booting a backup.
ps i have given tons of help to people on ps2 just beacuse someone is new to something doesnt make them stupid,not being able to spell download does though.

I was just kidden bro... I rely have never delt with it because I have the Hard Drive and I am connected to Live.

@ witton... I didn't mean to offend you. I was just trying to save you some time. Everythings right there on Xbox's site and you need to go there anyhow to get the emu.

- you need the hard drive for the 360
- you need to install the emulator to play xbox 1 games on the 360
- you either download that from Live straight to your 360 - OR -
- you can download and burn the emu to a disc and install it onto your 360

That's all there is to it. Not all games are playable yet.
