hi im new to this but ive been trying for ages using this software i keep getting errors could someone explian the errors and solutions for me please?

no valid video iso on disk .. use wholedisc blank extreme 2.0 extraction style and inject the video iso later i cured this error message by opening the program first then loading the game disc

but on starting the process i now receive this message about 5% into the progress???? i am using a 360 disc?? please advise

i had problems using this software, if you can, find yourself version 3.0 and you may find that works fine.

i am not suer about that, when i got errors i just aborted the rip and kept trying again. I didnt want to risk burning a dodgy copy that might have got me banned from live.

if you can't find version 3 pm me and i can send it to you. have you tried xbox backup creator to see if that works for you?

that would be great .... yes i tried xbc and got an error at 98%

using schtrom now so far so good !!! no error message as of yet and im at 25 % so i cant see there being a problem ..
i wonder what the bug is with version 3.1 :(
do you use imgburn or clone to burn with ... i have a pioneer111d

should be ok from there onwards :-)
I use clone cd to burn my games, and have a sony DW-D22A burner.

sweet what about the booktype ??? have you just flashed the firmware ?? (ub5crew);)
it error'd out at 98% maybe the disc is damaged i will have a look :(

still got errors? that is strange :-( I am at a loss now as to why this is happening.
Flashed my xbox about 2 months ago now :-)
I did not have to change my book type settings when burning :-)
should have asked, what drive are you using to rip the games? the xbox drive or the pc samsung drive? I use the pc samsung drive with the kreon firmware

yeah thats what i have the samsung 162 with kreon .... i ment the pioneer for burning ....:) there is some marks on the bottom of the disc due to my nephews ...lol thats why they need backing up

ahaa that could well be why it errors, I try to clean mine with a soft cloth to get them mark free but I guess if they are scratched it could be the problem :-(
do you have any other disks you can try ?
I know this may sound as illegal but could always try borrowing a game from someone just to make sure it will work.

i thought you had to booktype the + r media to rom???
