* Network Adapter
* Network Cable
* HDL/A Compatible Hard Drive
* Memory Card
* PS1 Game
* No Mod Chip
* Burned Copy of HDLoader 8b

I want to play backups from my hdd using hdloader or hd advance. Is this the guide I should be reading?

After you have made the exploit, u still need to be able to run backups on your machine to install it to the mem card.
Either use a mates modded ps2 or swap magic to install that exploit, then once you done it right. you will only need the ps1 game to run it.

Or you can just buy swap magic or mod your system. :)

Hmm, ok. I had/have a mod chip, the DMS4 EZI LITE SE Solderless, but my gf dropped my PS2 and the chip hasn't worked since. I think I might just buy another chip, but I still want to use HD Loader for the improved load times. Thaks for the reply mate.

by the way, if I upgrade to the Pro Version, could I use the 2mb Flash memory to load HDloader?

Pro Version? Are you talking about modchips? Ive never dealt with modchips before...
And about that modchip u had "DMS4 EZI LITE SE Solderless" Do you not need to do any soldering to install it? Is it like a plug and play kinda chip?
