Is the drive detected properly? Is the drive supported by the burning proggie you are using? ASPI?

i tried burning with Nero burning rom and i followed every step of the guide. Everything was working until i put a cd-r in the drive and the computer states "please put in a disk with a sufficient amount of space." I tried 3 different disks and got the same answer. All the disks are blank and brand new. This has never happened to me before. I think something is wrong with my burner, even though i checked it and the computer says that the burner is working properly. Help me. hahhaa

1. How big is the file you are trying to burn?
2. If its not too horribly big (less than 720MB then you might be able to overburn it). TO overburn: File --> Preferences --> Expert Features --> Enable Overburn --> Set it to like 90 minutes or something. MAKE SURE YOU BURN SLLLLOOOOWWWW
3. Have you considered buying larger media? 90/99 mminute CDs?
4. What burner do you have?
