Hi Guys,

I was trying to back up my Joyeux Noel disc but unfortunately I keep getting the message:-
FAILED WHEN COPYING DVD:8193

Anyone have any idea what this means?? Im using DVDFabricator. All help is greatly appreciated.

"FAILED WHEN COPYING DVD:8193"
Sorry, I don`t know what this means because I don`t have any experience with "DVDFabricator"
But... backing up a Dvd isn`t really be a problem nowadays, or at least it shouldn`t be!
Have you tried CloneDVD, or DVD Shrink?
The latter is very good, easy to use, and it`s FREE:

i take it you mean DVDFab Decrypter ?. make sure you're running latest version (3.0.3.5) or latest Beta 3.0.3.8 (i'm using this fine). Also make sure the disk you're trying to rip is clean

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies. Yes I tried to back it up using DVD Shrink but all I got was the "DVD Shrink does not recognise the structure of disc".
I tried DVD Decrypter but that gave me the same message as DVDFabricator. Grr its driving me nuts! lol I do agree that ANY disc should be easy to back up...but this one wants to prove a point or something.
