Here are 2 of the best simple and FREE tools. Both are extremely useful, a must have. I've been using them and never encountered any DVDs/movies that I can not rip and backup.

<1> DVDFAB Decrypter 3.0.3.8Beta (FREE & simple) http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm
<2> RipIt4Me (FREE & simple)

Method 1: DVDFAB guide
DVDFAB Decrypter +DVD Shrink + ImgBurn guide Just skip STEP #2 (VobBlanker), unless DVD Shrink is throwing up (or having issue) or you're an advanced user and know what/where to blank out.

Method 2: RipIt4Me guide
Here RipIt4Me +DVD Shrink + ImgBurn full guide Just follow this guide slowly and you'll be able to rip any DVDs around the world.

Enjoy the new guide.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

They should work fine they just take more time and steps to get the same results. AnyDVD runs in the background as you know and dose the work for you. Its a great way burn backups, best money you'll ever spend.

No need for AnyDVD, why pay $30 for AnyDVD when you can have 2 of the best FREE rippers: DVDFAB Decrypter and RipIt4Me? Both DVDFAB Decrypter and RipIt4Me are as "easy" as AnyDVD, they're just few clicks and you'll have your DVDs successfully ripped within 15 - 20 minutes. However, the choice is yours.

Yes, I saw that, DVDFAB Decrypter 3.0.4.0 is out -- downloaded it, installed it and it ripped through anything (any DVDs) I throwed in.

DVDFAB Decrypter is getting better and easier; Fengtao is on top again with his awesome FREE tool. I highly recommend it; this is a "must have" tool.

DVDFAB Decrypter is FREE, it is simply the free version of DVDFAB Platinum from Fengto (the author behind DVDIdle Pro, DVD Region+CSS Free, DVDFAB Platinum and DVDFAB Decrypter).

DVDFAB Decrypter stepped up and introduced to the public since June 2005 when DVD Decrypter (from LUK) got shutdown by Macrovision.
