i followed the directions from the DVD Decrypter thread and when i do exactly what is said and put the game it it tells me to insert a ps2 formatted disc. is there somthing else i have to do or does this not work anymore?
1) Make sure the game you intend to back-up is not dual-layer and does not need anykind of re-building to work.
2) Make sure you burn the .mds file not the .iso file
3) Make sure you use a decent DVD-R or DVD+R (depends on PS2 model but -R is a safe bet. (do not use RW disks)
4) Of course, you know you need a modded PS2 or swapmagic to boot a back-up right?
Same here man. I got the Final Fantasy XII game and it won't work. I got a modchip that boots everything else up. I got good Sony DVDs and I do the DVD Decryptor thing and I even tried Alcohol 120%, Nero, AND PowerISO just in case. It doesn't seem to work - and I've done this before. Can anyone give me any extra help?
