I did mine like this:

Ripped the movie to my HDD using DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD running in the background, I then use VobBlanker to clear up the rest of the encryption and other stuff. then I used DVDRebuilder Pro to encode and IMGBurn to burn. Came out superb. :D

Instead of using DVDRebuilder just use shrink to compress then burn with your burning software.

If you do not have AnyDVD use DVDFab Decrypter 3.0.3.8 beta it will Rip the movie to your HDD while removing the encryption. then use VobBlanker.

Good luck

I backed this film up using AnyDVD 6.0.8.5 running in the backround and Nero 7 Recode2 to back the film up to 4.7 GB disc. If you have a recent version of AnyDVD there is no need to combine software for this flick or Any flick in most cases. AnyDVD will also allow you to back your movies up to your hard drive if you wish. By using AnyDVD by itself and burning software of your choice you will save time with far less complication. Vob Blanker which is also powerful program could be used here if you wish to edit your title, be advised that AnyDVD also has it's features that allow the user to change the playing format i.e. "Jump Directly To Main Movie" or "Jump Directly To Title Menu".:P

Movie only - compression is about 74.6% - DVD Shrink with AnyDVD running in the background handles this movies without any problems.

Ok if a movie comes out on the Tuesday I can usually sweet talk the girl at the corner store into letting me have it on the Thursday before.
However you guys are talking about Pirates of the Caribbean which I won't get my hands on till Nov 30. So whats up with that. I'm feeling deprived.
Did the release date get moved ahead from Dec 4 ?

And I bet tons of newbies are going to ask for more helps (i.e. I can't backup this, I can't rip that, I'm stucked, I have a problem, etc.)

Free and simple; DVDFAB Decrypter or RipIt4Me.

Best of luck!

DVD Shrink told me it was unable to burn "file E",so I burned Pirates 2 using decrypter to my HDD, shrunk it with shrink to HDD, then burned with Nero.

They are also going to ask how this person got this new movie before their specific release date.

I do not fear this movie. I'm confident that my programs will work their magic.

I did this movie with the special features included and the 2nd disc. All it took was AnyDVD in the background and DVD Fab Decrypter and DVD Shrink to compress and then CloneDVD 2 to burn to disc. It turned out fine :)

I'm sure when I analized this movie in Shrink the compression was 55% with main movie only all sound tracks and subs, but removing subs and the directors commentary did'nt improve things much so I backed it up onto a Dual layer.
Mind you I do have the output file size set to 4400MB for a DVD-5 but I doubt a few more MB's would have made much differnce either.

Anyway, AnyDVD in the background with DVD Decrypter did it for me.

When I go to use Dvd Fab it says I should turn off AnyDVD. Do most people turn it off or leave it on? I see several posts that some people are using them together....

i don't have/use AnyDVD but i'd only use one or the other at the one time, less conflicts/problems that way.

Thats because you kept the DTS soundtrack and DD5.1

Compression with DD 5.1 and DTS no subs, 59.1%
DTS only 68.1%
DD5.1 74%

When using DVD Fab Decrypter you should have AnyDVD running in the background and make sure its activated. It should work fine.

will have to take your word on it as i don't have AnyDVD. i'd thought they'd conflict with each other but maybe not in this case..

Just to be clear AnyDVD and DVDFab Decrypter do not clash at all. I am not aware of the conflict that cp1966 has come across. Maybe if if they could post what kinda of error they are getting it will help us further.

I thought, and have read many posts saying that DVDFab and AnyDVD will conflict with each other, also i dont see any reason why any one would want to use both at the same time too, they do the same thing
