Tried to copy "The DaVinci Code" using DVD Shrink but no matter what I did and how I manipulated files I was unable to make such a copy. Have heard from other sources that SONY is now trying to confound decryption. Anybody have ideas on this? ReelHound

Use RipIt4Me or the search engine...there are many threads here about the DaVinci Code and Sony's new encryption.

Try these 2 guides below; both FREE and simple, cost you nothing.

NOTE: "DA VINCI CODE" is on my RipIt4Me guide

<1> DVDFAB Decrypter 3.0.3.8Beta (FREE & simple) http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm
<2> RipIt4Me (FREE & simple)

Method 1: DVDFAB guide
DVDFAB Decrypter +DVD Shrink + ImgBurn guide Just skip STEP #2 (VobBlanker), unless DVD Shrink has encountered an error and can not continue or you're an advanced user and know what/where to blank out.

Method 2: RipIt4Me guide
Here RipIt4Me +DVD Shrink + ImgBurn full guide Just follow this guide slowly and you'll be able to rip any DVDs around the world.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Regarding The Da Vinci Code, used DVDFab Decrypter 3.0.4.0 then DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15, selected Main Title, removed all foreign languages, edited ending credits just past actor credits and away we went on a 4.7 GB disc. Le Grande Ennui is relieved. Patience is a virtue.
