hard reset your psp and then (without loading HEN C) put your UMD in.

psp life = 2.6-1.5 > Custom Firmware Harley G's > 2.0 > 1.5 > C/FW XxPSPmadxX > 2.0 > 1.5 > 2.71 SE-C>swapped 2.5>2.6>1.5>2.0>1.5>3.03 OE-A>3.03OE-B/3.03OE-C

yah UMDs do not work while Hen C or Devhook is running. and HenC or Devhook dont run while UMDs are in. You gotta choose, ISO or bought games.

Dont spam the forums with question threads, just post your questions here at me and kealvalro's FAQ center! http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/430773

What does that supposed to mean? I thought the whole point of acquiring this umd game is in order to play isos on devc? Please let me know more details what you're trying to tell me.

Hackaday means that if you have HENC loaded up then you can't play UMDs.

You don't need a UMD to play ISOs with DevHook in 2.71

I did the hard reset and even formatted the memory stick with default settings in addition. The problem still though is that it doesn't show the UMD Drive nor the game. Only gamesharing, and the other 2 stock options.

with the psp off, pull the battery out for a minute or two, then place it back in, turn on your psp go through the setup options and see if it'll work then (leave the umd disc out during the power on and setup) then place ur umd back in the drive once the XMB has loaded up.

Tried it and no change. What kind of a problem can I have that it possibly doesn't show the UMD DRive? It doesn't even say UMD DRIVE OPEN/CLOSE just options for Game Sharing/save data utility and memory stick. help

In the DevHook Menu, where it asks you what speed/firmware etc. you want, go to where it says MOUNT and choose UMD, then go to start. My brothers TA-082 works fine loading a UMD through DevHook, so i imagine it should work for you aswell.

hey guys.. was this ever resolved? im having similar problem..

psp wont boot up when there is a UMD in the drive, and after booting up if i put a UMD in there it doesnt show in game menu i just get sharing etc.

im using UMD emulator, and this wont load ISO's anymore due to there needing to be a UMD in the drive..

anyone got any ideas?

PSP_Uno: Use the 2.71 Generic Downgrader.
http://dl.qj.net/2.71-Generic-Downgrader...0485/catid/114]

Download the 2.71 firmware, and then follow the instructions. It will reflash 2.71 onto your psp, so basically your psp will be like brand new. Hopefully the umd will work after this is done.

Ta-082 2.6 > 2.71 > 2.5 > 2.6 > 2.8 > Brick > 2.6
> 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.71 M33 > 3.80 M33 > 3.90 M33-3 > 4.01 M33-2

You dont put the MS_root folder on the root of your memory stick. You put whats inside of the MS_ROOT folder in the root of your memory stick. Then you run HEN and then when your PSP auto-resets you go to GAME-->Memory Stick and select the Update Flasher.
