i have an xbox and a xbox360 n im using my router for their xbox live connection. when i play head to head on halo, it works perfectly, but after 3 minutes, the 360 disconnects. i think its a router problem but it works fine but i think its the firmware.

if i buy a new router, will it do the same problem?

To be honest it is worth a try but going out and buying an all new router has got to suck. I am pretty sure it isn't your firmware though, so I can't really think of anything else, except maybe the cables you are using to connect them. Either sys link or just plain ethernet or maybe a connection is loose.
