I don't know about the latest or best but I found a file in the newsgroups called:

Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth_Rev2.rar

I am pretty certain it just came out in ..or at the end of October.
That's pretty darn recent in my book. Anyway, that's what I used
for my Hitachi v59DJ

Somewhere I keep seeing "this patch is for all versions through 59B

Well I have 59DJ.......Since the box was open, the drive was attached I flashed it anyway. Worked perfectly. Very clean.
Xbox live is just fine too. Hope this helps. Who knows someone will probably come along and tell me I'm way off base (and could be)
but that file was the most recent I could find. I took a chance, so far I'm very happy.

He's right. OPA 2.3 Revision 2 is the latest for the Hitachi.
