Only 50% CPU Usage?

I just recently bought a new computer and got DVD Shrink installed and when opening disc, and encoding my CPU usage only goes up to 50%. My computer has a AMD Athlon 4600+ X2 processer, 320GB HD, and 2GB ram. I just ripped Pirates of the Carabian in 16 minutes 22 seconds. But the highest the CPU usage went to was 60%. I am not running DVD Shrink in low priority mode, nor do I have other task running in the backgroung. I also have the AMD Optimizer Patch installed. My encoding times aren't that bad but I assumed that if my CPU usage went to 100% they would be alot better. Thanks

That rip time is not that bad. It may just be a matter of how well Shrink can utilize a given PC set-up. The more compression a movie has seems to slow them down.
I tested with Fantastic 4, full disc, with the compression around 62% and it took 18 minutes 45 seconds.
I'm using a dual Xeon 3.06 with two WD Raptor HDDs raid 0. It was working at 81% according to the task manager.

Ripping the same movie with Decrypter took about 10 minutes at about 15% cpu usage.... no compression.

That sounds logical. I'm pretty sure the compression was around 68%. I can rip two DVDs at the same time and they go at around the same speed as if I was just ripping one, but I guess thats where Dual Core comes in, so I guess it would be smarter for me to just do two at a time insted of waiting on the first one to get finished. Thanks for the reply.
