I am using DVD Shrink. I just installed shrink onto a new computer and I am having problems saving the image as a single iso file like I would on my previos computer.

@Augustino
Just to add on to what "Car.Mike" has suggested. If you're trying to rip a DVD/movie and try to create an ISO image so you can burn, then give them guides below a shot.
NOTE: Just read them carefully and make sure to follow it clearly as shown on the guide. I'm sure you'll be able to rip any DVDs around the world eventually.
<1> DVDFAB Decrypter 3.0.4.0 (FREE & simple) http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm
<2> RipIt4Me (FREE & simple)
Method 1: DVDFAB guide
DVDFAB Decrypter +DVD Shrink + ImgBurn guide Just skip STEP #2 (VobBlanker), unless DVD Shrink "has encountered an error and can not continue" or you're an advanced user and know what/where to blank out.
Method 2: RipIt4Me guide
Here RipIt4Me +DVD Shrink + ImgBurn full guide Just follow this guide slowly and you'll be able to rip any DVDs around the world.
Enjoy the new guide.

Thanks for the sugesstions. I converted my HD from a FAT32 to an NTFS but this does not solve the problem. I used to make copies of movies all the time only using DVD Shrink before on an older computer and never had this problem. My current computer that I am using now is an ACER Aspire 5102WLMi (AMD Turion 64 x2 Mobile Technology) if this helps at all. Here is exectly what I am getting when I copy a movie and save it as an iso image in the backup menu in DVD Shrink (ICE_AGE_2 then more files following ex. ICE_AGE_2.I01 and ICE_AGE_2.I02 ICE_AGE_2.I03 then an ICE_AGE_2 (mds FILE). I appreciate all the help I can get.

i'll just second alkohol's suggestions that you use the other freeware methods (dvdfab and/or ripit4me) and see if those work for you. i doubt that shrink alone is capable of handling the encryption on that particular dvd, but i could be wrong about that. using the other methods to rip might resolve your problem.

Thanks, I'll give it a try and see what happens. So far I've tried DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter and DVD clone on "Ice age 2" and "You Me and Dupree" with the same results with all three burninig software programs. Please let me know if anyone else might have an idea of what might cause this while I try using another software program.
thanks

Augustino,
Are you really sure that drive is NTFS as the info you are posting is for Fat32. Did you do on the conversion everything that is listed in the info below:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307881
If you right click the HD drive(under Proprieties) does it state NTFS??

I just checked and discovered that I only changed the c drive to an NTSF and the D drive is still a FAT32 and that is where I store my movies. Should I change this drive also? Is there a reason that this computer was set up with FAT32 and not NTSF with it being brand new?

Honestly, your best bet would be NTFS, especially if your into DVD ripping and burning. However, the choice is yours.
Best of luck!!

Augustino,
Set it up as NTFS and you will get the 1 file you are looking for. Fat32 is the automatic format that MS uses
