lip sync problem when joining mpeg files

Have a 3 disc svcd, which i will be converting to put onto a dvd.
once i have joined the files using tmpgenc plus, i have lip sync problems..

anybody know of a way around this??

Another option is to try 'DVD Architect' by Sonic Foundry...not had any lip-sync issues to date & I've done quite a few
