Hello everyone, So recently i have been having problems with 2 of my backups freezing before i can login online with my fujifilm dvd+r's so people have suggested using better media such as "Ritek G05 DVD-R" Disc... Problem is i hear there are some fakes out there or what not plus i don't think my local stores sell ritek media so i was wondering if anyone here can point me in the right direction online as to where i can buy some legit Ritek G05 DVD-R disc for a reasonable price and have it shipped (i am in the USA) ???
Any help would deeply be appreciated =)

Ritek is probably not going to be any better than your fuji. I would get some Taiyo Yuden 8x discs (I just got a 100 pack for $34.99 from supermediastore.com).
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero

I see, Well thanks alot for the reply... ace had recommended ritek g05 disc as mine was fujifilm 16x DVD+R and i was burning at 8x although most would work some games frooze before i could sign in on some online games.... I'll keep this site in mind although i'm confused there are too many kinds of the same stuff around i see one that says "Media Silver Thermal Lacquer (Value Line) in Tape Wrap" and one that says it's "premium" it's so confusing! lol

I'd beg to differ.

That's your choice, but I certainly don't rate TY at all, they're quite cheaply made & you can see through them. Something you shouldn't be able to do with QUALITY discs.
Here's how TY compared with RITEK;
TY G03 8x DVD-R (Pack of 25) > 13 coasters, 12 working games for about a week, then needed reburnt to RITEK = 0% success rate.
RITEK G05 8x DVD-R (2000+ games burnt over last 3-4 years) > 0 coasters, 2000+ good working burns (1st ever burn still works as well as the last game burnt) = 100% success rate

LOL, I had the exact opposite happen to me. Ritek G05 wouldn't work, but when I reburnt to TY, it worked fine. Besides that, do you think Ritek is better than Fuji?

Actually, that was a typo. I've edited my post accordingly - it was quite early in the morning here & my brain was confusing media codes.
