Please forgive me if I'm asking a stupid question. I'm new to computers and don't understand much of the terminology you use. For example, I don't know what a URL is so when you speak of it (above) I don't know what you mean. (and that's just ONE thing.) I have run into some error messages when trying to encode a video with DVD Shrink. I tried downloading FixVTS and I think it worked as I have a zippered file on my desktop. I am trying to follow the instructions given on your site but when the first window appears(Load VOB file) the space by the words Look in: does not say VIDEO_TS. I can't get anything like that to come up. Nothing that looks like that window comes up no matter what I do. I can't bring up anything with MenuShrinkBackup on the list or any of the other items on that list. Then I cant get the next window to appear. I click on OPEN in the first window and nothing happens. I know I must sound really ignorant because I don't know much of the terminology you people use, so when you answer, will you try to explain in ordinary language what you mean? (As opposed to computer language) I've copied many DVDs on DVD Shrink but I'm baffled when I get an error message. I really thought this FixVTS would be the solution. What are VOB files? What is Video_TS? I apologize if I'm not doing this correctly. I don't even know what you mean by "thread".
