i have a nokia 6103b its unlock but im not sure what the band/network is...

in barbados we have digicel which is on a 900 band and cable & wireless which is on the 850band... when i do a search the its picks up cable & wireless..

how do i find out what band the cell is?

it was made in hungary

imei: 359372/00/736728/7

I was told depending on where the cell was bought it can be on either frequency.

i just thought there was a way i could go into the phone and see the frequency, as you can with some phones...

You should be able to set the frequency in the mobile settings, most times it is already on automatic / tri band if not just select it in the settings, if it has that option. :)
