alright simple question for you smart ones. From reading all these forums for 2 hours trying to figure out how to copy a game and play a game on my ps2 version 7 all im going to need for the ps2 is a swap magic device? Which is just a new cover and a cd? The rest I can do on my computer? I have all that other stuff on my computer. So now I just get that swap magic and im in the clear....?

U need...
1:Swap magic 3.6 or 3.8
2a: Either a slide card/slide card pro or fliptop for old fat ps2s.
or
2b: Swap tool pro or that sticky tape method for slimlines.
Dvd burner and image copying program on your com.

And good blank dvd's

ok sorry to forgot to put in there. I have a scph 39001 v7 fatty ps2. so the swap magic thing with the cd is all i need then. I have the dvd decryptor, Nero burning, and a dvd burner. i have memorex dvd+r(i hope thats a good enough cd). so heres my next Q? Do I need one of those sliders, because from what I can see from pictures all it does is just eject the cd without having to press the eject button, but if I get swap magic with the flip top than doesnt that defeat the porpose of getting a slider?

Yip if you get the flip top then you dont need the slide card. And then swap magic will be the only thing left u need to play backups.
Hopefully your lazer aint dying to (When you get alot of read cd errors), orelse you will be having problems playing you backups.
