hae a toshiba L25-S1193 laptop. purchased a Matshita UL_820D buner.it will play music, also play DVD movies. But when I try to make a DVD it keeps telling me that there is an error writing the disc. Can anyone give me some info on trouble shooting my problem. thanks

That depends on which prog you are using to burn your DVD...more info required. Are you copying a DVD, burning a downloaded movie , if so what format.

As gwendolin stated we need some more information...could be that you haven't removed all the copy protection from the disc and need to use some better programs or your firmware could be out of date and you could be using cheap discs that are causing the error.

what I am tryig to do is make a DVD slide show of photo's that are stored on my computer. each time I get all in order using a program called showbiz2 it makes an attempt to write the disc, but then pops up and says can't write disc. I have tried -r, +r and rw disc. keep getting sme message. it will play dvd movies and cd's. just real stumped with this. any help you can give I would be thankful.
