Hi,

I haven't had any problems with my computer crashing in over a month. It used to crash a few times a day, but that was fixed, thanks to the help I received on this forum! Now, a new Windows XP SP2 update just became available (including I.E. 7.0, etc.), and I allowed my system to process the update. Since then, my computer is suddenly crashing many times every day. The only other new software programs I?ve recently installed are the music study programs ?Singorama? and ?Piano by Pattern? and some small auxiliary programs that accompany them. I don?t think these should be causing any problems, because they weren?t cheap to buy and shouldn?t have come with any hidden adware or spyware. So installing these programs and updating to the latest Windows SP2 update are the only changes I?ve made to the system. I have fixed all problems identified with Spybot and Adaware and deleted temp. internet files. I also unchecked almost all programs in the Startup folder in msconfig.

Just after I allowed the XP2 update, I also found my entire iTunes music library of over 6,000 songs and many playlists I?ve made suddenly completely erased. I think this may not be the forum to discuss that one, but any suggestions as to why this happened would be much appreciated.

Do you see anything in my HijackThis log that needs to be fixed?
