Hey, I have a Slim Ps2, V. 12, and I have Swap Magic 3.6, and I am using a external HDD to store my back ups, but I am contemplating possibly trading in my Slim for a Old Chubby Ps2, and I am just trying to get some input, should I get the old ps2? I am kind of iffy about ordering and paying more money, but you can do so much more. Any ideas on what I should do? I need some opinions here, lol. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Ok, if you get a Fat PS2 make sure it is a good model like a V7
You can do pretty much the same things with both models. It all depends on how much money you want to spend. With a Fat PS2 putting in an internal hard drive is simple as long as it comes with a network adapter. With a slimline you would need a new HD Combo case.

Also, just for kicks, what are you planning to pay for this fat Ps2?
To tell the truth i buy them all premodded with modchips because Swap Magic just plain sucks.

but other than using an internal hard drive, which of course would be a bit faster than external, there is nothing you can do with the fat PS2 that you can not do with your slimline.

Well my sisters bf was thinking of switching ps2's with me and I was gonna give him my slim for his chubby but I have no idea what version his is. So I have no idea, even on price range.
