If you still don't get it just extract the "su-madden07.rar" file and the rest will extract as well, make sure they are in the same folder you only need to extract the first file, you should either get the ISO or a folder with the ISO in it after extracting.
thanxz alot for the help..but i have another question lol..say i extract that rar file only..and leave 00-29 ...should i burn the the rest upto 35 and th sfv and nfo file with it?
Just ignore or throw away the sfv file as it is not used for anything, After your extract the rar file you do not need to extract anything else and you defienitly cannot burn and boot any of the other files just extract the rar and look for a ISO, IMG, Or MDF file which you should burn.
I extracted the .rar and it was a iso file with all the others..good so far..i burned it..IT WORKED..but then..after it says playstation 2..
the game turns on, but then..it starts going up and down..non-stop in black and white, and the game is there, but you cant play because its goin all over the place so..any help is appreciated..
Games are usually archived in a number of RAR-archives. This has been done to facilitate the actual download of the release. Once extracted you will get an cd or dvd image file, mostly in .ISO or .IMG format. Basically an image is a complete backup of a cd/dvd. This image can then be burned (Nero, Alcohol 120%, DVD Decrypter).
The nfo file is a textfile with information about the release. The files are designed by ASCII artists and can be read with Damn NFO Viewer or simply with any text editor such as notepad.
SFV stands for Simple File Validator and is used to check files if they became corrupt after transfer. It does this by doing a CRC (cyclic redundancy check). After the check it displays which files contain CRC-errors and therefore are corrupt. You can use a program like hkSFV to check your files.
In short, released games are usually split into several compressed parts. You only need to extract the first file in the sequence, in this case you want to extract the file 'su-madden07.rar'. Essentially what happens is all those files are uncompressed and joined back together. You will be then left with an image of the cd or dvd, which then can be burned.
Hmmm.... Are you using swap magic or a modchip ? I don't see why it should even say playstation 2 if your using swap magic it should start after that part, Also what brand disc and speed are you using to burn it with ?
You downloaded the PAL version of the game, you can try patching it, but for future reference, you want to get NTSC games (the nfo file will usually tell you from what region the game is from). See http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/121718 on how to patch a PAL game to NTSC.
