hi well im new to this whole emulation/firmwire buisness however i aint a complete noob i have gone through a few firmwires during november the psp was sitting there with 2.6 and then i found out 2.71 had been released long ago so i updated as i heard you could play iso's on this version through devhook however after days on end of trying all sugestions of my problem all games i tryed on devhook would load up to main menu and say game could not be started i then downgraded to 1.5 and i finally had a taste of iso with fastloader 0.7 but i cud only get oldie's to wrok eg: ssx on tour then i read up on dark alex and then upgraded too 2.71 se-c and i can now play iso's such as : nfs most wanted , ssx, dave mirra, fiffa street 2
.... but thats it i cant play gta vcs or nfs carbon and i have lots of different iso's for the title and both coem up with game couldn't be started when i go game>memorystick>click on the file >>>>

your help is soarily needed and im desperate lol so help us out im running se-c

yes when i boot up and hold r go on config it says use no umd currently enabled thanks touran for replieng

if it helps i can tell you all my settings in recovery are:
configuration:skip sce logo: disabled
hide corrupt icons:disabled
game folder homebrew :currently 2.71 kernel
autorun program at/psp/game/boot/eboot.pbp currently enabled
use no-umd : currently enabled

i think i may have deleted vcs but am putting back on my computer tommrow howeve ri disabled what you told me too but nfs carbon just comes up with this game could not be started (80020148)

erm i just did what an online guide said on maxconsole it plays other iso files liek sonic rivals,ssx,scarface,nfs most wnated etc
they all boot fine from memorystick what can you suggest ? maybe i should go to 2.00 and downgrade to 1.5 and try and use the new devhook? thanks

no VCS plays fine on SE? i think its your insatler...downgrade adn then get SE-C agaion with another installer...
