It is the exact same concept. Burn to a DVD instead of a CD.

Hmm, when I open the file in Burning Rom it automatically wants to burn the compilation as a CD and the dropdown to change to DVD is greyed out.

That's cos you can't burn Bin/Cue to a DVD. It is a CD only image file format. You need to comvert it to a dvd compliant format. I belevie Roxio does this, but I wouldn't reccomend using it. Try google for that type of proggy.

all depends on what the bin image is,determines what you do to put it on dvd disk
if its a movie, you need a couple of apps
isobuster or ultraiso to extract the mpeg from it
then a conversion tool to convert it to dvd format to get the nessecary vobs/bups etc (contents from a video ts folder)
there are loads to choose from
convertXtodvd
dvd santa
nero vision express

or you could just burn it to cd disk,as it should play on a standard dvd player

if you want to watch it on the pc,just mount the image with a virtual drive, and play it from there
