Thanks dialysis1, I have just done it via dvdfab and it all worked perfectly. What website is a good one to keep in touch with to check for updates of dvdfab?

Just another thing that worked for me because I had trouble with this movie. I used AnyDVD, DVD Decrypter, and then went to use Shrink, and it would not display the Main movie in the re-author section. It would only give me all of the trailors. I ended up using the Ripper that is part of AnyDVD to perform the rip, and Shrink liked it.

Thanks Zebachiah, will look out for that problem. Seemed to be ok with dvdfab and then shrink after that.

My 2cents, Leave the subtitles in unless you speak/understand French. Makes it kinda hard to follow if you don't.

Does anyone know where it is that I may be going wrong with the backing up of Da Vinci Code? I used AnyDVD to rip the DVD, but when I used shrink I did not know which files to pick or which order to place them in order to have the subtitles show up during playback on my DVD player. I intially copied the main movie, and it did not work, so then I copied all of the files in front of the main movie, but I did place the main movie ahead of these files. I am not sure if this worked because it did not seem to work on my PC, but I will look into this further. If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, or tips of any sort, I would greatly appreciate it.

If I play the DVD I get subtitles only when they speech something other than english. This is okay. Everytime I try to back it up to AVI, I either get subtitles all the time or none at all. I'm using TMGEnc4xp to convert it. what I'm I doing wrong.
TIA
