activation problem!

i have had windows pro put on by a mate of mine and it was activated fine when i got it and the key logo wasnt in the task bar and it was all good. then today i went to log on and i got a warning box saying i have 7 days to activate this acount the thing is when i press the activate logo in the box it goes to the activate page and it say i have already activated this windows. does any one no what might be going on.

Windows do that sometimes. Normally it disappears in few days. If very worried you can take call to Microsoft, but not necessary.

Your friend installed the OS and used his key. It only LOOKED fine, now you need to activate and you won't be able (his key is already used).

Buy a legit copy.
