i read the stickys but i dont know how to find out which modchip i have. I am pretty sure my version is 1,2,3 or 4 becausse i have 10 screws but i dont know which modchip!

The most popular modchip for those versions was "Messiah" and "Messiah 2".
Do you have to click twice the Reset button to boot psx games?

Your ps2 is not a v4 (v4 has 8 screws), v1, v2 and v3, have 10 screws.
And to know which chip is inside, better open the console.
At the time those ps2 were sold, was used too the "Neo" chip, but i think this one needed a load disc to boot the games

no i got it chipped like a year ago. And if i oppen it up it will void the warranty the mod man gave to me.

The seal of warranty was already broken by the guy who installed the modchip.
He has no way to know if you opened it or not.
The warranty that the ps2 had was for Sony possible reppairs.
Why don´t you ask him which chip he installed? Perhaps he can remember, if you say him at what time he modded it.

well if the guy who modded it gave you a warranty then i would just talk with him. Ask him what chip it is.
