I've bought a PSP for my brother, and there's a small possibility that it's a TA-082 (firmware is 2.50). My brother is going to want to play ISOs/CSOs, so I've done some searching. I found it's possible by DevHook, but what is this business of going down to 1.50 then relaunching DevHook in 1.50 to go up to 2.71? Why can you not just emulate 2.71 on DevHook whilst already being at 2.71? If you cannot emulate what you are currently on, what about the new DevHook? Can you emulate 2.8x from 2.71 straight away to play ISOs/CSOs?

thats because 2.71 wont let devhook run cause of the updated security but once u have gone down to 1.50 you can do what every you want

So whilst IN 2.71, you have to emulate 1.50 in order for DevHook to be able to emulate 2.71?

Argh, I'm confused now! So what's the problem? Why have other guides say to go to 1.50? I just want to know how to play ISOs/CSOs on a 2.71 the EASY way. Guess I'll fiddle around with it when I get it.

forget downgrading if u hav ta082 it will brick ur pspo. The only option u have is to upgrade to 2.71, run HEND, emulate 2.71 and run ISO/CSO.
