@kaosx- No it only works with DevHook 0.51 emulating firmware 3.01.
@vcbc- It only works on devHook 0.51, and there is currently no way to play ISOs through USB using DevHook 0.51.

Yea thats what I though , well i guess i cant do anything right now with that 1GB memory stick and i cant compress it too much.

Yeah CSO it.
BTW I downloaded one that was 800MB, I didn't know it was ripped.
Did you download it or dump it? If you dumped it, it might have a dummy file which you can remove to make the ISO smaller.

I dumped mine from my friends. DO you think CSO will do that much compression. I havent deleted that update too. ill try compressing and ripping i guess.

If you dumped it, then there is probably a dummy file.
Open the ISO in UMDGen and use the no-padding option and that should make the ISO even smaller.

alright, i'm now playing... 8s a bit frustrating though.. maybe because i wasn't expecting it would different from the ps2/x series.. the camera is a pain in the ass(i wish it was just like the ones in ps2/x... and the animation, it uses the digital graphic novel w/c i was expecting like w/ the ones in the psx since it has a max capacity of 1.8gb w/c i think is enough(quality can be sacrificed but it's ok).. the equipment is so limited too.. oh yeah and one more thing the codec too, there's no voice.. T_T

Hello all,
I'm having trouble with my Metal Gear P'ops. I load it and start the game but after the PSP Intro thing it just stays black and my magicgate light flickers occasionaly but timely, like 1 flicker per 5 seconds.
Anyone have a solution for this?
I use Devhook 0.46 with Hen C and I have a 1gig mem stick so I converted it from an ISO to a CSO.

THIS GAME SUCKS. I hated it. (And I LOVED MGS SOLID) This is NOTHING like its predecessors. :( Too bad.

is that bad, i havent tried yet but the reviews from ign and gamespot are good ,it as to be better than metal gear acid

well guano cant agree with you at all if its predecessor was the mgs acid 1 & 2 which i thought both were horrible due to the card play
For a While i have escaped time but to return when they need you most to come back on a vendetta like a have thats just simply MAGIC!

the only thing i dont like is the camera position unlike all the others metal gears this time we have the camera behind us i think the top view would be better in the psp

Just put this game on my psp and i think it's great. Why is every1 saying it's rubbish. It's better than a lot of games for da psp at da moment.

Hey guys, I used this program:
DevHook_v2.71+3.01_FW_FULL_Hybrid_Mod_For_1.50_Use rs_For_PSP.rar
because some people said Metal Gear required 2.80+ and I can't get it to work for some reason! Anybody know the settings. I ran brothers in arms fine on my 1.50 with devhook...

8s doesn't work with 2.71, my haunch is that because of the issue of connecting through the net.. mgspo uses some internet tools that the 2.71 or below doesn't have...
