No worries mate, just make a backup copy of the ISo before you begin, make small changes and test, if sucessful, make another change, if unsucessful, start again.
You can rip ANY sounds most times, you just have to replace them with blank audio files.
Videos are by far the easiest, just drag a blank video file into UMDGen and let it replace the original. Its like it was never there :)
When you get the hang you can start ripping PRX's and multi/single player game content. Thats where things go wrong quickly lol

and speaking of tekken DR,,,,when i am playing in umd before,,,i am able to play multi player,,but now in mem stick,,,i can't play it anymore,,maybe because its already ripped (a bit) coz its still 800mb,,and i don't know what they change/delete on the tekken files,,
i d/l it originally 800,,,and its on cso,,,
is a game cannot be playable in multi if it is ripped/compressed? can't play multi on all of my games on mem stick,,, listed on last page...
i just loggd in after 2 months,,,im here again and ready to help and be helped!!

is there a converter that converts ISO's NOT into DAX files BUT ISO flies, just smaller ones? let me know cuz i only tried the DAX compressor, and do these converted files work on OE's only?

yes they do work on oe and use umd gen 4.0
For a While i have escaped time but to return when they need you most to come back on a vendetta like a have thats just simply MAGIC!

Yes i want to rip the cutscenes and audio to them and add dummy files. What files are for the cutscenes that go along with the audio files? I want the music and sound so do not want to use a ripkit. And is there a faster way then renaming 1 at a time to the 1 you delete to replace? Thanks and also is there a place to find a list of files you can del for games? thanks

well the files are different each game and sometimes it isnt even there

Well example lego star wars II. I found the movies folder and dummied those with dummy .pmf file. I want to get rid of those cutscenes through and the audio for the cutscenes i seen in the audio/cutscenes dir. Now are they both audio and video for the cutscenes or they got the movie files for cutscenes under different extensions or something? If all fails can i just del or dummy those audio cutscene section and it will save alot of space and it will not lockup when it plays the video portion right? New to this and just starting off so trying to do a few games at a time. Like to get LSW2 to have music/sound effects and core of the game with all cutscenes and movies and audio for cutscenes gone. And i noticed the audio dummy files come in 3 different sizes which ones should i use in this case? Thanks

driver is a cool game to get in cso I got it to run at 891megabites
psp history.

cso runs fine on driver 76 for me on my sandisk but lags on my sony 1gb stick. Man are all sony cards slow? Sucks gta lags in cso format for me on compression 9. Whats good compression for that game?

I recommend downgrading to 1.50 then upgrading to 3.40 OE it runs them direct then.

well that has to be impossible because the story ripped is about 250mb and the if it is just the net that is 146mb fully compressed but cod is believable

So nobody can help on the lego star wars help i needed? Want to rip the cutscenes out and the music to them. But do not know where the movies are and the sound files are not reg sound extensions...

My vice city stories CSO is 549mb and it works fine, suprisingly i havn't found anything difference, music is all there and vids.
