Hi, I've got a problem here with my .cso format. I was download an .iso format game from torrents & I used UMDGen v4 to compress the .iso to .cso format, but how come the file size of .cso format seems to be larger than the .iso format? Please help... Thanks!

Hmm... Do u happen to know maybe where I might go wrong? I downloaded the .iso file & open it with winrar. Then I open UMDGen v4 exe & I drag & drop the .iso game into UMGen v4 & I click save as compressed .cso file, typed in the file name & save & it prompted me for the compressed value which is at 9 & I click continue.

Yays to this idea! I only have a 2gb stick and only a few of the ISO's are compressed. I am compressing Diseaga right now at level 6. Will edit this post with the result. I don't know if this is the right way to compress it but anyway.
924 MB (969,801,728 bytes) down to 468 MB (491,614,208 bytes) Compressed at level 6 using the thing at this: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/900
A line appears in the middle of the screen obscuring the view occasionally, it's not game breaking but it can be annoying. In truth it only lasted a few seconds and it has yet to reappear.

To save you time, some people have just taken full ISO's and just compressed them to CSO. No point of downloading an extra half of the game when you'll probly end up compressing it again. If you want, you can just uncompress anyways. The bad thing is that when games aren't always described as 'IN CSO FORMAT' so you have to guess the size.
