IDLEWILD PROBLEMS

im tryin to back up my dvd copy of the movie idlewild.im using DVD Shrink and AnyDVD 6.9.0. shrink analyzes it just find,but when i get to shrinking it,it gets to the part right before the universal studio part where the boy is dancing,then it stops,a pop up comes up and says"dvdshrink cannot continue,programming error,exception occured"
i then ran idlewild through decrypter everything was fine until i ran it through shrink again,same results.
any suggestions?

Try setting up DVD Decrypter like the following pictures and try it again.
I know that you are aware that AnyDVD must be running in the background. Good luck and let me know if it works.

i copied idlewild just fine using clone dvd 2 and AnyDVD 6.0.9.0 good luck

dvdfreak1 I have seen this before just set the unreferenced material to still image before you backup will work fine.

what program do set the unreferened material to still image cause i couldnt find it anywhere in shrink?

Are you reauthoring your movie in DVD Shrink? If so you won't show unrefernced material in the left window. You might want to rerip using DVDFab Decrypter or RipIt4Me.

thanx pascha i figured it out how to change the unreferenced material in shrink to still image,i ripped idlewild full disc with shrink and AnyDVD 6.9.0 running in the backround.

sorry guys, I am a newbie, but i've been scoping this board for a few years now. but anyways...my question is, what is the unreferenced material? I ripped my backup with dvd dycrypter and when i open it up in shrink, i'm having a problem understand what is exactly consider unreferenced. I do know how to go to the drop down menu and pick "still image" but i have no idea what to do that to. can someone help me out?

The unreferenced material sometimes is the 'running' boy. It is on this one.
In Shrink look for 'unreferenced material' on the left after the analysis is done. (see pic)
That is what you would make a still image.
You can click on the actual file(s) listed under unreferenced material and play it back when you see them in Shrink to check what they are.

Ok... Ripped it to my external hard drive with AnyDVD. I need to know where the running boy file is located so I can fix... thanks

sorry M8's I'm use to the edit thing to be there. If its there im a dumb noob give me a few days again this is cause i ripped the hole Idlewild dvd to my hard drive when I got it let my Dumb A$$ friend borrow it. Let his girlfriend borrow it then I get it back scratched. I know how to fix it just to lazy to find the running boy on my own. Please tell me where he is located at what the file is called.

Look under unreferenced material - it's listed under extras.
See the Shrink pic above - Recode is very similar.
Click that file under it and play it -if it's the running boy you can't miss him :)
Another option is do movie only.

Thanks... Not an option to do only movie. It's fine if I'll have to wait and look around. I believe there was a site to get VOB and IFO files from. I just want to know what I need to run this... Like dose anyone have a copy of theres to send me the still and ill replace.... BTW I do know of the running man I just cant find out what file he is

Try running the files you have on your hard drive though VobBlanker.
If have the original dvd back you can try re ripping it.
