is it true that a two disk enhancer for backing up ps2 games can be purchased for the slimline.and do you know where i can get on in this country.

Its called Swap Magic. Do a search on Google for it & pick a store that's in your country, or ships to it.
You will also need to buy either a replacement custom fliptop case, or Magic Key set with the discs though, so you can swap discs over without the PS2 knowing.

If you have the money then sending your console off to have a GOOD
mod chip installed is the best option.
(DMS4 Pro, Matrix Infinity, or Crystal Chip V1.1)

A nice cheaper chip would be the Duo3 GT but would not have all the functions of the above chips.
