just flashed my ms 25 drive with firmware 42a i had updated on live first and i got the error 66 i flashed with extreme boot maker the one that uses the samread and samhack command can anybody help me out on how to fix this error. thank you

You need "Xtreme42_Update" once you get that you want to click:
"Make X42a.bin Report as MS25" its a batch file and will create the 42a hack (with you firmware) but report the drive still as a ms25 drive instead of a ms28 drive which this version is based off of and causes errors for people with ms25 drives.

do you know where i can get it and how would i install it over 4.2 firmware

eurasia.nu and you can just flash right over 4.2. Remember... you'll need to put the drive into 0800 mode first before you flash. Anything 4.0 and up needs to be put into 0800 mode first.
