iight.. so.. i got the Dev hook stuff..i got it to play my .iso files..
but i wanna go further!
just a general topic..
Is it safe to run ur psp in HENC + Devhook, in 1.50 FW, and then run the SNES9X Emulator at the same time?
within the SNES9X emulator.. i am playing mario All stars.. and like.. the game only runs *decently* well @ 333 mhz .. now.. is this gonna hurt my psp.. cuz when i chose this in the SNES9X player...it has it glowing in red like 333
now it also has it yellow as in 222i belive.
so yeah..just wondering..i don't wanna break my psp.. but i really want to play my Super Mario 3 for psp :( lol any help would be great! thanks all
The psp was originally designed to run at 333MHz and was downgraded due to loss of battery time. The only thing that happens when overclocking your psp is a slight speed increase and your battery will run out pretty damn fast. I recommend you get the fixed eboot or use eloader.99 instead of emulating devhook...my bro's psp runs at full speed on 222MHz using snes9xtyl through eloader...emulating devhook will just slow it down.

Well the only problem with that is, my psp is version 2.71... meaning i need to run it in order to get into FW 1.50. now will eloader.99 do the same thing? or will eloader.99 run on version 2.71?
i got eloader.99.. neat-o file..reminds me of henC mode.. but anyways
my game still runs like shit...i think the mario all stars game might just be to powerful for the psp :( the only way it runs right is if i take transparency off, and a few other things.. which..take away from the game.
change some of the video settings and put the frameskip on 1 or 2. muck around with the video settings a little till you get it all right. Also, make sure you have Snes9xTYLme, not just Snes9xTYL, cause it isn't as efficient as the ME version.
Hi, im new to psp's and need some help. i have heard of a psp modchip called undiluted platinum. i was wondering if this performed the same functions as a regular modchip. and how do i burn iso's to a umd and make them work (or how do i copy a umd)

W00 h00, .. wel i found if, i run HENC, then DevHook, choose FW update 1.5, and CPU clock 333, i can then run SNES9xTYLme
btw..i was using the origianl SNES9x, which may be why it ran slow.
so the SNES9xTYLme runs great!! thanks so much man!
