Hi,

DVD Shrink can't copy DVDs when the disc region is mis-matched with the drive region, please try it to see the result.

You are right about DVD Shrink not being able to read discs that are multi-regional. i use DVD Decrypter when that situation arises. what i want to know is that if you have an RPC firmwared DVD Writer, then how does DVD Shrink know what the correct region settings is for you. Since people use the program in Europe and USA alike.

I meant a region encoded disc, oops. If you rip with DVD Shrink then it will be region free (some people refer to this as multi-regional as it plays all regions) as long as you select that option in the guide i gave you.

For example, if the disc region is 1 and the drive region is 2, DVD Shrink can't backup the DVD directly.

Also, DVD Shrink will not remove RCE protection.
