CRC ERRORS

being a comparative newbie could someone please explain CRC(cyclic redundancy check)errors. Using DVD Decrypter I usually have no problems backing up some of my DVD's but with one I am trying to do now I keep getting CRC errors & the VOB file is not being copied fully. I cannot even copy & paste the file.
Hope some one out there can help me with this information & maybe a way around it.

Mate these errors are ussually meaning that the disc is dirty or smudged somewhat. The other thing is that DVD Decrypter is not updated anymore so it does not have the ability to break new encrptions.

To do such thing the new program is DVDFab Decrypter. Also do you have AnyDVD Running in the background that also helps break the encryption.

thanks for the information. the disc did have marks on the surface. I tried DVDFAB & found it did the job very well. Will AnyDVD also if I run into any more problems.

DVD Fab and AnyDVD are the programs to have. If DVDFab does not doo it AnyDVD will surely do the job for you.
