Hi my computer is starting to give problems...programs are opening and closing immediately by themselves...i also am trying to open AVG to scan and it wont allow me...any suggestions on why this is occuring

It can be viruses. Try some online virusscanner, e.g. this:

There are also several other online virussanners in internet.
