hello people,
i have a 1.5 psp with device hook 0.46. my homebrew gta vice city stories keeps stuttering and freezing up, i dont know what to do

both GTA's stutter and run poorly when compressed into a .cso file

you need a 2gb memory stick for the full iso if you dont have one use a ripkit to make the iso smaller

but i think there is a fix to run device hook with 333mhz speed

both liberty and vice city stories stutter in a cso its sill very playable i think its not overly distracting but use umdgen and drag the cso into batch conversion convert into iso then delete the system update or the music i just delete the system update and it gets to about 819+ mb so as long as you have a 1 gb you should be fine

it works fine now, when its sized 1.3gb but is there a way to make it smaller without it stuttering

like they said u can use a ripkit wich will take out files u might not want like music and what not to save memory on you memory but i would'nt do it since you cant enjoy the full game n stuff

1. Download UMDGen 4.00 from here:
http://www.umdgen.com/UMDGen_v4.00.rar

2. Download a blank AT3 file from here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JKZ6PBR6

3. Download a blank PMF file from here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5VM57P0O

4. Now open up your ISO in UMDGen and browse to PSP_GAME\USR_DIR\ and replace any AT3 files (music/sounds) that you don't need with the blank AT3 file that you downloaded. Note: The music files will be in a subfolder inside USRDIR, the name of the folder differs between games.

5. Now, replace any PMF files (movies) you don't want with the blank PMF file.

6. Now browse to PSP_GAME\SYSDIR\ and delete the UPDATE folder.

7. Also delete the BOOT.BIN file.

8. Now save your ISO and it will be smaller.
