so has any really had sucess with joining a game online? attempted to play last night, and it still wouldnt let me join a game, but if i started one, it worked fine, just had to wait until ppl came in.

I play it a fair bit and can always join games. Have you tried opening your ports on your modem? I hear that works for a lot of people. Here's a link:

I have had the same problem in the past 3 days. Before this I would play COD3 online everyday. No problems at all. Not the case now.
Have you played COD3 online before or are you just starting?

it has never really worked for me. i have yet to be able to join a game/lobby. but have had no problems creating my own and having ppl join it.

OKay, well how good/bad is your broadband connection? I think that has a lot to do with it sometimes.

well that i do not know, as i am at college. but i know we have extremely fast net here. and i have never had any problems with any other games online. just this one.

Yeah, if you're at college then chances are your net is more than good enough. I could be wrong, but I think a lot of colleges block certain ports which restrict that sort of thing. You might have to ask the computer technicians that handle the college's net and see if they know anything about it.
