Please help with mortars (Call of Duty 3) chapter 8 or 9

Just wondering if anyone can help me, I am playing Call of duty 3 on the Xbox 360 after being an avid fan of Call of Duty 2.

However, I have found a problem point... In Chapter 8 or 9 after you clear the house you come to a point where you use mortars. Now maybe i have a glitch copy of the game. But i can clear the first two mortars on the right and centre, but the left one will not let me mortar it. I have tried and tried and I can be on it and bombing until the cows come home. With no luck.

Has anyone experienced this ?? Am i doing something wrong ???
Or is this a possible glitch in my copy of the game ???

Hopeing someone can help me.

I had a similar problem when using the mortars to clear the barracaded road ( not sure what level) no matter what i done i could not get past the level, I restarted that level and when I came to that part again it worked with out any problems. Maybe just a glitch in the game.

I have already started the level from scratch twice now. I guess i'll just keep trying.

Aim your mortar as far up as it goes. If you still don't hit aything then there probably is a possible glitch. I'm playing this on the wii and havn't had a problem yet so i'm not sure.
