is it possible to create an image file of an xbox360 disc using DVD decryptor that you can then burn straight onto a dual layer disc to create a working backup?

(I already have an xbox 360 with the xtreme firmware upgrade)

any help would be much appreciated

sorry to double post but i have just used DVD Decryptor to create an image file of an xbox360 game which is 7.4gb will this work?

I have never tried with decryptor for my 360 but I dont think it will work. You need to use schtrom or xbox back up creator which deals with the ss files and the dmi stuff.
What drive did you use to rip the game?

an LG GSA-4163B was used to rip the game

i will let you know whether my backup works or not when i get a dual layer disc
