I just bought my psp a few days ago and me thinking that the psp could be upgraded then downgraded again well searching on the net it says that Firmware version 3.02 cant be emu;lated on but Devhook could run on it? I dont get it. Can i still downgrade? If not can i fix the corrupted dats so it can work the icons will show up just when i hit start it says corrupted data. Someone Please Help all i want to do is put like 1 Emulator the Snes With like 6 games Someone Please Help!!!! My deepest Graditude gose to the person or people that can help. thanks

Devhook emulates firmware including 3.02. Devhook only works on 1.50 and 2.71 SE. What firmware is your PSP?

Yeah, no firmware above firmware 2.71 can be downgraded. However firmware 2.8 (not 2.81 or 2.82) can play homebrew using the eLoader.

I think he has 3.02. If so, then no, you can't downgrade to firmware 2.8. There is no way to restore a PSP to its original firmware, bad luck. You'll just have to wait until someone finds an exploit in 3.02 to be able to run homebrew.

yeah its version 3.02 but i was looking at http://dl.qj.net/PSP-Firmware-3.02-JP-Fi...11627/catid/163 and its a 3.02 firmware

Umm thats just a link to download firmware 3.02...

Anyway, sorry but you cant run any homebrew (emulators etc.) for now.
