i downloaded sum file onto my memory stick from the psp web and i wanted to delete it bc it is taking up sum space on the card, but when i connect my USB and try to delete the file or move it , it says it cant because the file is corrupt and just leaves it in the M/S , is there any way i could take it out, the file didnt even work when i downloaded it so its useless

Backup anything important on your memory stick and then format it. Then everything should be fixed :)

No you don't have to reinstall anything as long as you backup everything except the corrupt data.

File assistant will find the recovered cluster of memory, It will be on the root of your stick and be named Found.000, delete it to recover your space. Or hook up to your comp and delete from there, no need for a total format

Also, run check disk on your computer, right click your psp once connected and go to properties, click on the tools tab and do a error check on the disk.

uhm...

thanks i did the disk check error , everything seemed fine , there was no "File assistant will find the recovered cluster of memory, It will be on the root of your stick and be named Found.000, delete it to recover your space" on the MS , i am not worried as long as i was able to delete that corrupted file
