Hi all, I've been searching but in vain.... I would like to find out if there is any emulator to run PS games? If so how can we get the games out of the PS game disc I have and in what format?

Please advice...

You have two options:

1. Use the official 3.02 firmware to play PS1 games (by emulating it with DevHook). However this requires a PS3 and you have to pay for the games. However unlike the unofficial homebrew emulators it works perfectly (no lag, all games that you can download from them work etc)/

2. Use one of these PS1 emulators:

It requires the PS1 bios image to run and you need the PlayStation games in .iso format. However not all games and there are bugs such as lag etc.

Pertaining to your answers, I have a few more questions:

1. If I use Devhook to 3.02, can I use the iso from my PS game disc?

2. If I will to use the emulator, where can I get the PS1 bios? Where must I put the bios (location)?

3. How do I convert the files in the PS game disc to iso format? And where do I place the iso files in my PSP?

Thank you.

1. No you cant. lol, Sony wouldn't let you do that. You will have to pay for the games and use a PS3 if you want to use this method to run PS1 games on your PSP.

2. Search for PS1 BIOS on Google, its against the forum rules to give you a direct link.

3. Use Alcohol 120% (again, search google) and then use the "Make Image" option. The location of the ISO depends on the emulator, check the readme of the emulator that you decide to use.
