my computer is telling me mivss.exe is trying to access the internet what should i do, do i ALLOW or DENY I DONT KNOW WHAT THIS IS!!! SOME HELP PLEASE!!!

Do not allow it yet. First you need to find out if it is bad or not. I can only find one or two sites about this file and they do not tell much of what it is or what it does.

Here's what you need to do:
Go to Start > Search > search all files and folders for mivss.exe and find the full path name.
Then, scan it for malware.

Go to Virus Total file scan
Click "Browse" beside the "Select file" area.
Locate and select the file.
Click "Send".

Is it found bad by 3 or more scanners?

From what I can find it's related to my4m.com search engine and seems to be some sort of java redirect script.
I'd be very suspicious of this program.. (the name rings a bell..can't remember where I have seen this one before)

It isn't anywhere in my XP machine which is malware free and not updated from a clean sp2 install.

When you find where it is lurking I'd be very happy to have a copy to take apart and see what it really does.
