Sorry i m newbie and i was not sure if i can update my PS2 Matrix infinity 1.46v.(nonslim system)

is there any website for update like firmware etc ??

make sure it is a REAL matrix infinity chip first.

Geez... how do i know i have REAL matrix infinity?? all i know it is since when i started up the PS2 theres "Matrix" on the screen w/ black background. how to find out if its real ?

If the person who modded it or the place you bought the chip is reputable it should be.

But without opening the PS2 and physically looking at the chip there is no way to tell. and i do not suggest you do that unless you know what your doing.

The only reason i warn people about the clone chips is because some of them were sold as Matrix Infinity chips, they would also use the old Matrix Infinity firmware which means you would get the matrix
logo on the screen just like the real chip.
But when you updated the firmware it would fry the chip making
it useless.

I can look in the ps2 i have openedi t few times in past.

last question,

1.93 is the last one?? i went to their website and dowlonad and am a bit confused..

Which one "file" to burn onto CD from Winace archiver ?? BIN file , Image file ???

you burn the image file (aka Cue file)
You just burn it to a CD. And if it is anything like
the updates for my DMS4 Pro chip then you just stick the
CD in your PS2 and it will instruct you about how to update.
then it will update the firmware and you reset the console and your set.
