psp how to make backups please help

right i have bought a psp for my son and this is what i want to know

1st: how do i make a backup disc of his games ( due to disc casing )
2nd: how to burn them to disc
3rd: what sort of discs
4th: does it need to be chipped

sorry for probably been thick but psp's are all new to me, though i know how to do with ps2's.

any help would be greatful i.e. games, movies, music discs etc...

u dnt burn your backups to another CD. u just put them onto your MS and play of your MS. as for ripping them, you just use something liek UMDDAXDUMER.

NO not really a 2gig would be great but 1 gig is enough (thats what i use) you can back up all his games and save them to your PC hard drive then just upload them to the memory card when ever you need them. there are pages of reading material here on ho to place them on your memory card and what programs you need. but the most important thing is what firmware you own (see previous post) and what motherboard you have. As i said spend a bit of time reading and get to know your stuff.
another great site is http://www.psp-hacks.com/ any program you need and more is there and it can be trusted.

You can use fast loader, download it from here:

Just insert the UMD you want to backup and then run fastloader.

u can use fileassistant or other homebrews to dump UMD game files to your memorystick then use UMDGEN to create it to an iso game

most homebrews already dump to iso. actually i dont know of one homebrew that supports umd dumping that dumps raw files instead of an image format.
